In December 2010, a fellow musician passed away. His name was Martin Brown, but we knew him as Leedsquietman. Over the years, Martin impacted many of us. So when he died, we decided to honor him with music. I am proud to have contributed two songs to this amazing record. Please listen at Soundcloud, and then please buy the album at Bandcamp. With the new year, I’ve decided to embark on a new project: Pellicle. The past 19 years or Nebulae have enabled me to create over 14 hours of original music, and 27 hours of music total, including remixes, DJ mixes, and what not. I’m proud of much of it, and embarrassed by some of it But oveall, it’s time to ditch any baggage associated by Nebulae and move into a whole new experimental direction. Is Nebulae dead? Not by a long shot. But is it time to try something new that has no ties to the old? Most definitely. Enjoy my new Pellicle material on Soundcloud and Bandcamp:

In December 2010, the music community lost one of our own: Martin Brown, AKA Leedsquietman, of Ontario. Over the years, Martin had helped countless artists with his knowledge of music production and his genuine and open attitude. His loss was a shock to us, and such a loss has been felt around the world. To honor Martin, members of my forum have decided to create a compilation album with original submissions of their music. My submission is my latest song, The Man Is Quiet. It’s a Pellicle release, created entirely in FL Studio. Enjoy:

When I was an active member of TheSixtyOne.com, part of my success was working with a group called Electro Freaks. The lesson I learned was that when you make personal connections with people who truly love a genre of music, it yields really great results and a lasting bond.

So it should be no surprise that when T61 killed off groups, we all went over to Uvumi and kept in touch on Facebook. As a result of constant contact, we have put together a new compilation. The first one was on T61, but this new one is on Uvumi.
